[English Poem] Courage

Courage is sometimes ill understood
often misunderstood

Courage is not bragging of best feat
It is standing on you feet after defeat

It takes seconds of nuts to shout at someone loudly
It takes whole lot of guts to listen instead totally

Real courage lies in
looking after ailing mother
accepting a fading friendship
seeing love beyond father's anger
seeking purpose behind deepest wounds
able to see own weakness without feeling worthless
doing the right thing though it maybe fruitless

Courage is
letting go off the support to find your feet
pushing your boundaries with all your might

Trying new stuff
Crying heart out
Moving through uncharted territories
Feeling spectrum of emotions

Loving like it is the only thing in life
Learning like I will live forever
Living like I will die tomorrow

Experiencing life not as it comes to us
but rather how it is meant to be is the real courage

[Opinion] Which one is better, Idealism or Realism?

Idealism is when you envision or see things in an ideal or perfect manner. Realism, on the other hand, tends toward a more pragmatic and actual view of a situation. These two approaches are familiar to most of the us even though we are not familiar with the formal definitions of them. So which one among these is better? We are familiar with benefits of a positive mindset. Idealism helps greatly in having a positive mindset. A person with a positive mindset will be more hopeful, motivated and at peace with his situation. Believing things like good ultimately wins over evil, every act in life has a purpose etc can help in having peaceful mind. Believing that efforts will be rewarded will keep us motivated in our work. If we can believe all people are good, then we will have no need to judge, suspect or doubt anyone's intentions. [English Poem] Trip to Florida

I wrote the below poem while returning from a trip to Florida. We were 7 friends who visited Florida for 4 days. The poem is about our experiences on the trip.
